Leaving Radovljica, we travel towards Gorje and climb into the mountains.
Enjoy a scenic drive across the beautiful Pokljuka Plateau, with its vast spruce forests, alpine landscape and peaceful atmosphere.
Pokljuka lies within Triglav National Park and offers a completely different side of the Bled and Bohinj region.

From Pokljuka, we descend into the Upper Bohinj Valley.
Enjoy views of traditional villages, meadows and the surrounding mountains while learning more about local life, farming and alpine traditions in Bohinj.
This scenic journey is one of the best ways to experience the quieter and more authentic side of the region.
In Stara Fužina, one of Bohinj’s most characteristic alpine villages, we make another special stop.
A short walk takes us to Vornčkojca, one of our favourite local viewpoints overlooking Lake Bohinj.
From here, enjoy beautiful views across the lake, the Bohinj valley and the surrounding Julian Alps.
It is a peaceful spot away from the busiest tourist areas and a place many visitors would never discover on their own.
We continue down to Lake Bohinj, Slovenia’s largest natural lake.
Enjoy some free time beside the lake to take photographs, go for a short walk along the shore or simply relax and enjoy the mountain scenery.
After visiting the lake, guests staying in Bohinj are dropped off.
