1. GENERAL CONDITIONS
By purchasing a tour through our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. The services are provided by Mej-se d.o.o., operating under the brand Slovenia Top Travel.
We only offer one-day trips without overnight stays. There is no reservation system – all purchases are immediate and binding once payment is received.
2. PAYMENT METHODS
We accept the following forms of payment:
Credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) via Stripe
Bank deposit (manual bank transfer)
If you choose bank deposit, full payment must be received at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure. Your booking is valid only after the payment is confirmed.

3. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
You may cancel your booking:
Up to 24 hours before departure: Full refund
Within 24 hours of departure: No refund (100% cancellation fee)
No-shows or late arrivals are not eligible for refunds. All cancellations must be submitted by email to: [email protected]
4. CHANGES & CANCELLATION BY THE COMPANY
We reserve the right to cancel or modify a trip due to:
- weather conditions,
- lack of minimum participants,
- operational or safety concerns,
- force majeure (natural disasters, political unrest, etc.)
If we cancel a trip, you will receive a full refund.
5. TRAVELER RESPONSIBILITY
It is your responsibility to arrive on time at the designated meeting point. Delays or missed departures due to your personal schedule or transport issues are your responsibility and not eligible for refunds.
Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
You agree to follow the guide’s instructions during the tour. We reserve the right to remove participants who disturb the group, are intoxicated, or behave inappropriately. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
6. INSURANCE AND LIABILITY
We do not provide travel insurance. We strongly recommend the following:
For all tours: Personal health and accident insurance.
For hiking tours: Additional mountain rescue insurance that includes coverage for helicopter evacuation and injuries in alpine terrain.
We are not liable for:
- delays, cancellations, or injuries due to external factors
- loss of personal belongings
- issues related to travel documents or visas
Please note: Mej-se d.o.o. is a registered Slovenian company that specializes in organizing one-day trips without overnight stays. As our services do not fall under the definition of “package travel” set by Slovenian or EU regulations, we are not required to provide insolvency protection as described in Article 32 of the Slovenian Tourism Development Act (ZSRT-1). Mej-se d.o.o. does not provide a guarantee for the tour operator’s liability in case of insolvency, in accordance with consumer protection laws.
7. PARTICIPANT’S RESPONSIBILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
By joining any hiking or outdoor activity organized by Slovenia Top Travel, participants confirm that they are physically and mentally fit for the activity and participate at their own risk. Slovenia Top Travel and its guides are not liable for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from unforeseen circumstances, natural conditions, participant’s own actions, or non-compliance with safety instructions. It is the responsibility of each participant to wear proper gear, follow the guide’s instructions, and inform the guide of any relevant health issues. By completing the booking, the participant acknowledges these risks and agrees to take full responsibility for their participation.
8. ASSUMPTION OF RISK FOR OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
Participation in outdoor activities involves inherent risks. Slovenia Top Travel assumes no responsibility for personal injuries, accidents, losses, or damages to persons or property, during or as a result of the activity. Outdoor activities inherently carry risk (e.g. falls, weather-related incidents, animal encounters). By participating, the client accepts these risks and agrees not to hold Slovenia Top Travel or its guides legally responsible for such events unless caused by gross negligence.
9. PHOTOS AND PROMOTIONS
By joining our tours, you agree that photos or videos taken during the trip may be used for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in such media, please notify us in writing before the tour.
10. DISPUTES AND APPLICABLE LAW
All disputes between customers and Mej-se d.o.o. shall be resolved under Slovenian law.
